~CHAPTER 1~
Billie was a bright young girl at the age of six when she attended school for the first time. But perhaps she was not as bright with her social skills.
She soon got a reputation - one that was quite unfavourable.
She made friends with the wrong girls, and flaunted her lingual and sexual knowledge.
But in that small town school, all the girls were wrong. Bad influences on each other.
Many pranks and schemes ran through their minds and Billie, being sensitive and sweet at heart but with a fiery temper, was a huge target.
With this new fangled thing called the Internet came new opportunities of doing wrong.
Pretending to be someone else or having someone sit beside you while you ask personal questions of your unsuspecting victim.
I have to note that many of the girls were nice enough on their own, but with their forces combined they became mega bitches.
The bane of the world.
Billie was tormented her first year of school - she left before Grade 2 had started.
But Billie still saw her "best friend", Morgan.
Morgan did not return Billie's feelings of friendship truly and used her for her music, toys, and games.
Learning to hate Morgan, Billie was trapped by her until the age of 8 - when Morgan Perrabow moved, and Billie Hitler was free at last. But not really, truly free.
Billie was haunted with memories and thoughts of her now deemed "nemesis" - FOR IN REALITY... BILLIE WAS KINDA GAY.
Growing up to be violent and depressed, Billie stayed homeschooled until she stepped back into the fray. With Grade 8. Middle school.
A decision she will regret - forever thinking she should have stayed home, or behaved a lot better at school.
If we went into the details of her entire middle school life (one term) I dare say this would be a very long, boring, sorry tale indeed. More than it is now.
Let's just say it was like Grade 1 all over again, and even worse.
Lashing out at the people around her, and being called Emo and Gay on a regular basis, Billie couldn't stand it.
~CHAPTER 2~
Billie found home life to be INCREDIBLY boring for so many years.
Looking after her baby brother (name of Jonas Angel) her life went something like this..
Eat, feed, change diaper, change Jonas' diaper, watch TV, put Jonas to bed, clean the house, go to bed, and wash, rinse, repeat.
So she returned to school, this time as a High School student...
During her first year (which was very dull, yet angst-ridden), Billie had started to take up drinking and smoking. She kept vodka in her drink bottle and a fag up her sleeve.
This was all secret from her parents, and she got a rush off doing things she knew was wrong.
And all this led to her affair with her Indonesian teacher, Mr. Hyfen.
She knew, as soon as she saw him, that her virginity was thrown out the window.
The handsome and smart young man made Billie - as her one and only best friend Janelle put it - 'warm for his form'.
After Grade 12, Billie took a year off before college.
Her relationship with Grey Hyfen continued.
She practically lived at his house now, and their love was no longer secret.
A guilty pleasure of theirs was to watch videos of girls wrestling in tomato sauce.
Good times.
Good times.
Sadly, when Billie left the state to go to college, she broke it off with him and went on to have lots of nasty rebound sex at college.
But she found her real college relationship in Cliff Milo Greyhound, the local emo of the campus.
Cliff showed her the joy of vampire romance novels, and helped her through her mental breakdown when she claimed to be abducted by blue aliens with green eyes and orange hair (which was very reminiscent of the only time she got drunk while at High School..)
The only true time Billie cried her eyes and heart out in college, was when she found Cliff sleeping with local goth babe Pandora-Evangeline (she legally removed her last name) behind the library.
College ended soon after that...
Who would Billie love now, now that she feared she would start reverting back to her violent and abusive ways??
~CHAPTER 3~
Billie finished college with degrees in the genres of art and chemistry.
Despite some of her more weird, unusual moments, on the last day of college, she received many hugs and wishes towards her happiness and well-being... most of those from total strangers.
She went on to rent an apartment with Janelle, work as a check-out clerk, and devote her free time to painting and weird experiments.
Speaking of experiments, Billie soon discovered she wanted to do two new things...
Cutting
and Girls.
The step into these brave new things began like this.
Billie went out to the store. And she bought a razor, various stationary objects, and blank paper. And when she got home, she painted these words onto the blank paper...
"Janelle. I know we were supposed to do this stuff in college, but I want to have sex with you. - B.W.H"
She left this message on Janelle's pillow, then went to her own room to stare at the razor without touching it.
And when Jan got home that night, and went to dump her coat in her bedroom, she found herself spending the night in Billie's instead.
Thus began their relationship.
2 months later, Billie sat in the kitchen, eating melting ice cream straight out of the tub with a novelty spoon, and remembered something vital.
Janelle is a ho.
Thus ended their relationship.
And thus ended Billie having a place to stay.
Janelle had kicked Billie out after they broke up, and in all of Billie's tantrums that followed, she decided it was best to leave anyway.
But where was she to go?
The face of an old friend swam into her mind, as she smacked right into him and fell over.
Grey Hyfen.
Billie went to live with him from then on in, as a result of him being so happy to see her but sad to see her homeless. Their relationship did not rekindle until many months later, when Grey saw scars on her wrists and arms while she was painting.
And thus began a love scene, in which both got paint in their hair.
It was no ketchup wrestling, for sure... it was better.
Grey took Billie to therapy, to help stop her cutting, and eventually they were both perfectly happy.
Until they had a baby, because then their lives became something like this...
Eat, feed, change diaper, change baby's diaper, watch TV, put baby to bed, clean the house, go to bed, and wash, rinse, repeat.
For then they were even happier than perfectly happy.
And so, the moral of the story is this...
1) School kids are evil.
2) Best friends are evil.
3) Alcohol and smoking is cool.
4) Emo kids will cheat on you.
5) Beware of the blue aliens with green eyes and orange hair.
6) Any girl who isn't 100% heterosexual is easy.
7) Having an affair with your teacher will lead to perfect happiness.
(^ this is self-deprecating sarcasm)
This is my first and only, I believe, short story. I'm roughly dating this as 08-09, possibly chapters 2-3 after that as they weren't really in a consistent style. I've reworked the paragraph structure, it was a mess before and still is a mess but I don't know how else to do it. I'm not an expert on structuring text for novels lol.
ReplyDeleteI quite like it. Some versions of the file had that funny summary at the bottom so I included it in smaller text here, plus a disclaimer. It used to continue with a very special message about encouraging the depressed/cutters to "GET HELP :)" but honestly I don't care, I never did myself.
